1st Visit - Consultation

 The purpose of the Sisterlocks™ consultation is to determine your eligibility. 

• If you have severe hair damage from heat, color, thinning, or scalp conditions this consultation is not recommended for you. 
• Clients will receive a thorough hair and scalp assessment.
• Tester locs will be applied to help determine the best locking pattern for your hair texture. 
• A quoted price will be provided and valid for 30 days. Starting at $850 and up with SL trainee. 
•  For your consultation, it is required to arrive with clean, loose, natural hair. 
• Potential clients must have at least five inches of healthy new growth. 
• We service ages 12 years old and up only.
• Pricing is determined by hair texture, hair type, hair length, density, and timeframe.
• A non - refundable deposit is required to hold dates for SL establishment.
• We offer payment plans, Afterpay, credit or debit, and cash options. Balance is due in full by day of appointment.  

On the day of your Sisterlocks™ establishment arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. 

Other things to know

• Sisterlocks will not be installed in one day.
• Do not blow-dry, or straighten hair.
• Do not add any conditioners, oils, or moisturizers.
• If you are coloring, make arrangements 2-3 weeks before the appointment.
• Feel free to bring any devices with chargers, earbuds, a neck pillow, a blanket, books, and entertainment to keep you engaged during the time of your establishment session. 
• Lunch breaks are 60 minutes for each scheduled day. 
• Clients will receive standard size SL during the establishment.
• We do not provide loc extension services. 

Once finished, your loctician will inform you regarding the next steps. 

Other things to know

• Your loctician will schedule your follow-up and additional appointments before you leave. 
• Ask questions to your loctician regarding your concerns and limitations. 
• Follow the instructions your loctician provides for best results starting your loc journey. 
• Clients will receive a customer care kit and hair accessories with all the supplies needed to get them started along the way for  first few months starting SL journey.
